I am here commenting on the Film Program blog. I am extending an invitation to all students/faculty to utilize this site as forum for commentary and notice. Let us know what's going on. Let us start a dialog. Let us build a film student community. Let us exercise free speech. Let us know.
Let me add this: Here is the blog for the Film Program. Open to commentary by any student/faculty. Created to keep us informed as to what is going on with you, in your film/video world. We want to build a community here. We want to know what is going on with you and what you are working on, what you are planning to work on. No comment is insignificant (well maybe some....but we'll let each other know...won't we?). Start a dialog. Start commenting. Don't hold back. Talk and discuss...get involved.
so thanks for doing this Allan... I think you might need to advertise this site a little more at the college ... I only stumbled upon this by chance I am overwhelmed with the projects I am involved in... and dreading the editing ahead.... But it is the most wonderful thing I have gotten into since having kids!! Alison
good point Alison...students should be directed to the blog in a better way. I am working on it....also everyone should get used to it and visit it on a daily basis...just to see what's going on. For example, things to be on the look out for: 1. Sundance trip...more info coming soon. 2. VIFF Student Festival Oct 24th! 3. Coming soon on RETN "Burlington College Presents".... a cable access show introducing students of the college and their work/art to the community.

I have found it. I was wondering where it was. My quest is over now to spread the word.

Hey Everyone - If you're looking for a something to see, check out JCVD at The Village (it opens next Friday - 12/5).
Reviews have been pretty positive. It sounds interesting, if nothing else...
I found a clip:

Also the off. site is: jcvd-themovie.com
I don't know - what do you all think?
I messed up - JCVD's coming to The Palace (not The Village).
Too much turkey. My bad...
Ray messed up again - JCVD is opening at the Palace on 1/9. I found a Facebook group. Looks sweet!
